At Dovetailed Design we specialise in making personalised wooden signs and gifts. A family run business based on the Isle of Wight creating a wide range of wooden and acrylic products.  

The majority of the business is run by myself, Ian Raymond, with the help and support of my close family.  My daughter designs the hand-drawn artwork and my son helps with the digital side of things and my wife keeps us all in order!

My interest in woodwork stems from my father, who was a carpenter and I’m glad to be following in his footsteps. We pride ourselves in providing a reliable and personal service where we enjoy working closely with our customers. As the majority of our work is bespoke it is a delight to produce items that are tailor-made and unique.

Living on the beautiful Isle of Wight, we try to support our local suppliers and use wherever possible, sustainably sourced timber. More recently, we have also started to use up-cycled timber which is a good source of high quality wood, saving precious resources.
